Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are said to have already committed to perform at Super Bowl XLIII (43) on February 1st in Tampa.
ZZ Top have tacked an additional 19 fall dates to their current tour. Here are a couple locations nearest us:
September 5 - Charlotte, NC -Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
September 6 - Raleigh, NC - Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion
Hugh Hefner's three girlfriends, who appear on E!'s The Girls Next Door, are reportedly worried that a brunette Ukrainian model has caught their man's attention. The National Enquirer claims that 82-year-old Hefner is "stunned" by Dasha Astafieva and has been accompanying her on outings, holding her hand, and sitting in on her nude photo shoots. "Dasha has upset the pecking order by pushing her way into Hef's heart. The competition for his attention is really intense among the girls because of her."

Favre traded to the Jets! It's gonna be difficult for me to see Bret in a Jet uniform, and I'm not a cheese head. I can't even imaging what Packer Fans are thinking. I know playing for a different team in the last few years for Johnny U and Joe Namath didn't work. I hope it works out for Bret. The good news is - the NFL season is only a few weeks away.
**Oh, and the Olympic start tomorrow. Does anyone seem to care? Can you name 5 atheletes in this years Olympics other than the Pro Basketball team?

Queen + Paul Rodgers will release their first collaborative studio album, The Cosmos Rocks, on October 14th. But the big news is - Paul will record a live album next weekend with his BAD COMPANY band mates, and it will be available in stores within a few months.
Howard Stern is set to produce a remake of Rock 'n' Roll High School, the 1979 film about a bunch of students who rebel against their high school's repressive administration with an assist from punk rock legends The Ramones. According to RollingStone.com, Alex Winter - best known as Bill from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure -- will pen the screenplay.
